Fred Sirieix has worked in the restaurant business for over 30 years, but even he has to work hard to find excellent restaurants while traveling. This is why he asked some of the best Britain’s chefs and restaurateurs to open up their little black books and share places, that they know really offer something special. And so Angela Hartnett, Tom Kerridge, Michel Roux Jr and Nisha Katona took Fred to restaurants, which in their mind offer food experience that is second to none.
In the opening part of the series, Fred Sirieix visits Venice along with one of the most famous Britain’s chef and Italian kitchen expert Angela Hartnett, to taste simple, yet wonderful local food in in their favorite restaurants.
They also used the opportunity to visit and enjoy impeccable service in the dignified Café Florian, which could be considered representative cafe of Venice.
